This kit has all the equipment you need to start making wine at your home. The kit contents are below:
•8 gallon Fermenter with lid and airlock
•Plastic Syphon Assemply with 4' of hosing for transferring the wine
•6 gallon PET carboy
•Bottle filler
•Self-Adhesive LCD Thermometer, 36 to 78 oF
•Hydrometer
•Cleaner (2 oz Alkaline Wash) & Sanitizer (4oz Star San)
•Airlock and rubber bung for the carboy
•30 synthetic Corks
•Twin lever corker
There is no information on each item in the kit, the "equipment kit flyer" is useless, so is the picture/list on the side of the box.
The drilled carboy bung is to small, the degassing rod in bung is to small for the carboy.
The bucket comes with a hole in it but no spout or anything to block the hole.
There is a hard plastic tube with what looks like a broken end, don't know if it is how it is supposed to look or not, don't know what it is.
I bought this kit as a first time wine maker, I was hopeful that I would get the information in the kit on what each item is supposed to do and be able to make wine right off the bat.
Now I have to find something to fit in the hole in the bucket and bungs to fit the carboy.
