I did not give 5 stars for this since I do not know what the best yeast is. I like using this yeast when the weather is cold, I will keep the house at 65 deg. and this stuff will go for 2 months, gives a good taste to mead and strong apple and honey cider, I do recommend this product, it works really good and this little pack is good for 6 gallons
