What can I say. If you want your weldless connections leak-proof you need these. These are nice and thick and give a great seal on curved surfaces like a kettle.
This worked great in my for the seals in my brew kettle. The only thing I'll say about it is that I also bought the 1/2" NPT locknut which has an indentation in it for the oring. This oring was bigger than that groove which made me nervous about the seal, however, it's holding up so far.
