African Queen hops were bred in South Africa and is the child of 91J7/25 and 94US2/118. Berries, stone fruit, and melons are the most common descriptors of African Queen, but it is complex and unique with some brewers describing a slight chili spice. African Queen offers good alpha acids and is a perfect fit for West Coast IPAs.
